Abstract This paper reports on the use of an exercise-based programme in the management of a person with Myasthenia Gravis. This programme was based on current literature pertaining to the therapeutic management of Myasthenia Gravis and other chronic progressive neuromuscular disorders. Although the patient showed moderate gains in clinical measurements of muscle strength and endurance, the effectiveness of the exercise programme was mainly demonstrated by the patient's decreased levels of fatigue and in the achievement of his stated goals.
